Nokia puts the brand change in to action as the Symbian OVI Store client is being updated to 1.16.006. It seems like the update for now is just for 5th edition, but i'm sure S^3/Anna/Belle phones will follow suite soon.
The N9 seems to be quite certain to be released in first half of October for most markets, but still for South Africans there should be local release dates hopefully announced on the event happening today.
This video doesn't offer anything new if you have followed N9, but it's a first time i have seen Peter Skillman on a Nokia marketing video, or actually on any video related to Nokia.
Nokia has just made it official and appointed Henry Tirri as the next CTO ( Chief Technology Officer), while Rich Green will leave the company. Tirri is working from Nokia's California office and is reporting directly to Stephen Elop.
The idea is simple. It takes your front camera view and shows that behind the texting UI. So while you are texting you should see some obvious obstacles when walking, while still being able only look at the screen.
