Eldar Murtazin

Remember Eldar? Consider yourself lucky if you don’t. It seems like he is wanting to get some press after being ignored for over a year now.
He claims to have been able to see Nokia’s Catwalk among other devices on a closed press event in MWC 2013. According to Eldar Catwalk feels great in hand, is made from aluminium with “great camera” and could be the most popular smartphone in 2013, if it didn’t have Windows Phone.

In Barcelona, in the secret room could see a number of future products, including aluminum flagship from Nokia, which is the quality of the housing on me a very good impression. Good camera, but in Windows Phone, which does change and spoil everything. “Oh, Windows Phone, why do not you Android», – present shouted and shook their heads. Noise with this model, let us make no less than the Lumia 920, but nothing in the sales will be. It’s a shame, the machine could be very popular. – Google translation from Eldar Murtazin

I don’t say i disagree with him about Windows Phone not harming the sales, to lets say Android, but it’s hard to say about this guy after 2010 when he actually knows something and when he just talks random Eldar stuff. This time he just spouts the same rumors we have already heard, without adding anything. So take it as you want.

If I’m lucky for not hearing of this guy … then I see I’ll be REALLY lucky in the future, because I don’t plan on seeking this guy out for information. Personally I think the Android Purists are REALLY biased and quite closed minded. The Android users that are open to trying Windows Phone … switched, and really see the value of Windows Phone. It will take time, but Windows Phone will be a force to be reckoned with and Android will not be as significant.

I highly doubt that Windows Phone will ever make a large enough impression for Google to care. NOTHING will tip the iDiots and the iPhones for another few years, though I’ve seen a steady decline in their sales and overall stock which is a great sign. It implies iDiots are starting to realize that there are better, cheaper, higher quality options available and have been for the past 5 years.
I’d like to see Windows Phone challenge Android, but until Steve Ballmer finds another job, in another country, it won’t ever happen.
