ProShot photography app for Windows Phone 8 updated

proshot

ProShot is probably one of the best looking and nicest to use Pro Photography apps on Windows Phone. What’s also nice is the constant stream of updates that the developer is giving us. Case of point being the v2.3 introduced today.
Lets run down some of the features available for ProShot already, before the update.

Shutter Speed
- ISO
- White Balance
- Exposure Compensation
- Focus
- Flash
- Aspect Ratio
- AF Assist Lamp

Drive modes include:
- Burst Shot (up to 5 FPS)
- Self-Timer
- Intervalometer (for timelapse)

Display options include
- Grid Lines
- 3D Level Gauge
- Histogram

Here’s what the v2.3 update brings to the table.

- tripled image save speed
- added self-timer, intervalometer
- added option to choose language
- EXIF now has proper geotag
- added MF assist zoom
- added tutorial
- AF Assist now has 1 setting for all modes
- UI tweaks and bug fixes

Impressive isn’t it? Price isn’t bad at all either at $1.99 and you just might find this way more worthy than many of the games costing double of that.

I have both Pro shot and Camerapro on my Lumia 920, proshot was my first choice but after the major update on Camerapro yesterday specially by fixing some bugs and adding very nice capabilities like Bracketing, Self timer, Anti shake and… its hard to say which one is better…
