I had all kinds of thoughts popping up seeing Blackberry unravel its savior OS, but thanks to exams i will keep this short.
First i could not help to reminiscent of Harmattan and it was also clear that what Nokia did with Qt and Swipe UI were all on display on that BB10 launch. It’s always easier to build build upon of something than to be the pioneer.
Another point to make was that Blackberry did the least they could do today and that’s a compliment. If we had seen WebOS, Windows Phone, Android, not to talk about MeeGo like release event, Blackberry could just as well left the stage waving the white flag.
As far as the hardware goes Nokia really has nothing to worry about with quite respectable portfolio of Lumias in a different price ranges. By mid-March when Z10 is launched in USA Nokia will have already introduced (hopefully also released) one or more of high end Lumia.

My biggest fears concerning Nokia and Lumia line now really lies in Microsoft’s ability to move faster with the OS. What we have seen so far have not been all that encouraging and at worst kind of resembling Nokia of 2008.
Nokia has actually been much better at updating and improving its own apps, like Nokia Music and Maps, than Microsoft has been able to do on basic core app like Xbox Music, that actually went backwards from Zune Music player.
What do you think about BB10? Loving to see something resembling Swipe UI or is there no place for BB10?
