The much asked music recognition app for Harmattan is finally here. Soundwave uses Midomi servers to identify and search for patterns on the background and when the application recognizes the song you are served by data about track, album and artist of the track.
Use of the app is easy and similar as on the other similar apps. Click on the big icon and the app starts the recognizing process. I’m sure you know how it goes.

As far as future goes you can expect Symbian version in the near future and maybe Maemo 5 version in the distant future. SoundHound isn’t still ready as next update adds Spotify and VKontakte and such embedded on the app. LiveLyrics is also looked at. SoundHound is available from Nokia Store for 5€.
