Elop once again confirms that Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 will come to the market November, phones itself are ready. Elop also confirms that more money is out to the marketing of Windows Phone 8 by all of the companies involved, including Nokia.
Of course Nokia isn’t going to sit silently next year and confirms new Lumia models will be brought out next year.
Next year we will bring new models in a different price brackets.
Nokia will accelerate Nokia Maps licensing and keep improving it. Something we have already seen past 6 months in a scale never seen before by Nokia as likes of Amazon, Yahoo, Microsoft, Oracle etc have picked Nokia as the map provider.
Elop was also asked about the possibility of Surface phone by Microsoft and not surprisingly Elop would welcome them to Windows Phone market. Nokia expects it’s major R&D investments to make the difference.
