Dxomark has put together a test where it puts top smartphones and most of all standalone cameras fighting against each other. Dxomark will post detailed look later on so for now we just get some graphs where we can see how on their tests 808 PureView did against others.
Conclusion is that the 808 PureView camera fulfills it’s 41MP promise, though looses to brand new DSCs cameras or DLSRL. You wont even see other phones being mentioned when talked about 808 PureView, that really tells it all.
For some reason 808 PureView is not mentioned on video recording but we get it slide for now as really only one camera and GS3 are mentioned. I truly hope they test the audio recording on 808 PureView because that’s one thing that should get much more attention. You wont find anything similar from most of your 600 euros video cameras.
