Nokia’s smartphone marketing director leaves Nokia

Nokia’s smartphone marketing director, Ilari Nurmi is leaving Nokia. Ilari Nurmi has most noticeable been leading Windows Phone marketing inside Nokia. Lumia 920 marketing got caught in a storm after some marketing videos that where actually not shot using Lumia 920, even if it was so implied. Nokia immediately started internal investigation on the matter and did reinforce its policy so nothing similar would happen in the future.
Ilari Nurmi has also been active in Twitter, but two weeks ago suddenly stopped his updates on social media giving a bit of a hint on what to come. Nokia is not commenting on was it Ilari Nurmi who left Nokia or was Nokia behind the leave.

    He didn’t leave, he was kicked off, right?

      Only official respond Nokia has given to that question is: no comments.
      Thinking the timing and how much bad press that Lumia marketing brought in it would seem like he was kicked out looking it from outside.
      Though who knows.
