There’s such a overwhelming amount of Nokia rumors and news coming today that marking another confirmed Nokia event to the calender feels exhausting.
GSMA has confirmed Elop to be one of the keynote speakers in the 2013 Mobile World Congress happening February 25-28. While some might draw the conclusion from this that Nokia has something big to announce in MWC, this isn’t necessarily the case. Depending on will you (or the company) have it’s own keynote event in MWC or just a panel keynote speaker.
Most of the time announcements happen outside the MWC venue, but the hardware will be in display at MWC.
That said if we are to believe Nokia’s Richard Kerris, spring 2013 is the time Nokia will announce amazing Windows Phones.
People will be climbing over themselves to get Nokia’s new phones. – Richard Kerris
