Rumors: Verizon Windows Phone offering revealed in a…. bodybuilding site?

Don’t know what it’s about bodybuilding forums and technology as we have similar kind of tech loving bodybuilding forum here in Finland.
Anyways, bodybuilding.com forums has some information about Windows Phones for Verizon, right from a Verizon employee.

Here’s a little rumor update going from both internal and external sources:

 

-HTC “midrange” phone. Im guessing 720p 4-4.3″ screen, 1.2Ghz S4, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal.

 

-Nokia high end phone. Probably 768p 4.3″ + screen. VZW is going all in on “phablets” this fall so i expect the Nokia will be 4.5″ at least.1.5GHz S4, 16 and 32GB offerings.

 

-Low end Samsung as a prepaid offering. Trophy specs with Sammy plastic. WVGA, 1.2 S4, 4GB internal, 512Mb of RAM
-Midrange Samsung. Galaxy Nexus clone

 

Veizon will be a launch partner and will appear September 5th
Marketing campaign on par with the OG Droid – robertk232

So lets try to look this as one more rumor added to the pile and how it compares to the previous ones.

All of the Verizon WP8 rumors seem to point that Nokia will have high end device for Verizon. There is variation on will there be mid end Nokia device for Verizon or not.
Two of the rumors previously have stated that Verizon wont be part of the Nokia and Microsoft September press event. This rumor in a other hand claims Verizon will be part of the event.

Wont go on the screen sizes as there’s not actually many rumors out there telling the screen size. More about blogs and such calculating the size from the leaked images of Nokia Phi, something i don’t put much trust on.
Nokia’s high end phone having 4.3″ or more is still to be expected.

From the same forum also speculation about the release dates for Nokia WP8 handsets.

A supposed insider has this to say about Nokia WP8 devices:

VZN phone: Oct 25
Att: Oct 29 and Nov 2
Tmob: Nov 9

I’m a bit skeptical because I have my own source who told me second week of November for Verizon, and this source is as inside as you get; however, I was told this a few weeks ago, and you have no idea how frequently launch dates change. – robertk232

    Bodybuilding and technology go together like a horse and carriage. I always do dumbbell flys with 2 Lumia 900 for my heavy chest workout. So I really hope the next Lumia to be a bit heavier :)

    So Nov. is looking plausible for most availability ramping-up, pretty sad if that’s true, esp. if it’s not till the end of Nov. or later.
