This patent filling appeared two days ago to USPTO. Patent itself was sent to USPTO back in February 28, 2012.
There’s no guarantees this has anything to do with Nokia Phi or any Nokia phone getting releases. Thinking the amount of patent fillings every week and Nokia probably having multiple fillings for this design this could not mean anything..
That said the the design seem to match the earlier leak and reveal us such things as 3.5mm headphone jack that is right on the middle of the top, not on the corner like rest N9 designs. Not sure where Nokia would place their MicroSD slot, if it’s not in the same tray as the SIM card.
There’s also two speakers at the bottom of the device. Though i doubt Nokia would actually waste the space for some amazing dual speakers.
Couple of things i’m not liking at all are that it seems to be missing the curved glass and it looks to be quite thick. Especially thick if the screen size will be 4.5″ or more.
