Rumors: Nokia Phi to have 4.7″ screen, thin. Phi and two other released by October

Nokia community favorite (sarcasm overload) Eldar Murtazin has revealed some of the Nokia Phi features. It will apparently share the N9/800/900 design, though it will be larger and thinner.

According to Murtazin Phi will carry all of the features you can get inside Windows Phone 8 as of now.

  • Lumia 800/900 design
  • Thinner, larger
  • 4.7″ screen
  • NFC
  • LTE
  • Bigger Battery
  • Memory card slot (MicroSD more than likely)

 

He praises the Nokia Phi AMOLED screen openly… something that’s very rare coming from Eldar Murtazin, actually praising Nokia device.

When it comes to announcements Nokia is set to release the device almost immediately after release.

Eldar Murtazin has confirmed that Nokia Phi and two other models will be presented in September 5th and their sales will start in October. – tech.obozrevatel

According to Murtazin only thing hindering Nokia Phi is that the battery will drain fast, even with having high capacity battery.

All very positive comments coming from a guy like Murtazin who is as critical about everything Nokia as possible do sound good.

      At least he has kept it quiet for a while. :D

      When he puts exact numbers like screen size and features that might not be too obvious to these rumors he is right more than he is wrong.

      it’s when he just puts out some vague information of something or states the obvious and turns the thing around as a negative he is 100% talking out of his ass.

        Everything he says here are just general inferences that anyone could make.
        What’s the bet he’ll end-up being “mostly” right, so that’ll somehow maintain his “sage-like” status.

    Just the hardware I’ve been waiting for! I’d pay twice what I did for an N9 for one in Meego Harmattan flavor!

      Sadly you won’t ever be paying Nokia, if we’re lucky Jolla may deliver…
      The odds are very much against them succeeding, but if they pull-it-off it’ll be a truly remarkable achievement.
