Samsung WP8 devices leak. How will they compare against Nokia?

Above are the alleged Samsung Windows Phone 8 devices likely launched this year.

First one is called Marco that according to wmpoweruser’s sources is a mid-range device (like the price hints). Marco looks surprisingly poor and i have no doubt Nokia will be able to deliver something better there in every aspect.

Odyssey in a other hand looks to be solid offering from Samsung and maybe cleverly Samsung has gone for large screen measuring at 4.8”. That’s even bigger than the screen on Galaxy S3.

I personally doubt Nokia will offer a phone with a screen in that scale and that might be enough for many to go for Samsung no matter what else Nokia puts on their flagship phone.

Even so Samsung will continue to push Android and throw leftovers to Windows Phone. If Nokia is awake these specifications should and must be better on Nokia’s offering.

    If Nokia doesn’t top that they’re screwed….
They don’t need 4.8 though, 4.8″ is crazy, 4.6″ or thereabouts is fine.
They need to best Samsung convincingly in most other areas though.

It amazes me how crazy people in WP communities like WPcentral and such are about screen sizes. Majority of the vocal people are demanding at least 4.3″ screens there.

I use my tablet so much these days that i have no use for anything like the Samsung Note. I rather have something actually compact that is feature packed.

4,8 is too much. I wouldn’t mind having a beamer on the phone. Do you know, if the Galaxy beam is good in that sense. One never knows, if a customer has a working projector. WP and beamer could be a hit for Samsung for business users.
