Official: Nokia and Microsoft hold Press Conference September 5th

Here we have it folks, more than damn likely the announcement day of Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 handsets and Windows 8 tablet, if there’s one from Nokia coming in Q4 2012.
This event likely serve as wider announcement of Windows Phone 8 as well.

PocketNow so far the only one that has received the invite for this event.

EDIT: Now also confirmed by Engadget.

Engadget is invited for New York event, not the Nokia World held in Helsinki at that date. Either there will be multiple event depending on where you are based, or this is the one and only.

    so what’s the deal with Nokia World now? The Helsinki one. Has it been cancelled? is there an event in Helsinki which bloggers can go to, like the Nokia World’s before…?

      It seem that the event in Helsinki (September 5th) is a closed event just for business partners. As far as I understand there will be more events taking place in Helsinki, where Media will be invited.

      Like zymo said there was at least supposed to be other events taking place in Nokia World. That closed September 5-6th event is just one of them.

      Though Nokia has been very tight lipped about them. Last message i received concerning Nokia World was 2 months ago telling about the change of Nokia World format and them informing later about the future events.
