Soon is the word we have heard before when it comes to WP8. Richard Kerris from Nokia revealed last month that Windows Phone with PureView would be announced soon, now it’s Elop’s turn to attach that soon to Nokia announcing it first Windows Phone 8 handsets.
Elop did not deny a September launch but would only say Windows 8 smartphones would be released relatively near term. – Reuters
September is still easily the best bet for first Windows Phone 8 announcements from Nokia, even if there is some confusion on what will be Nokia World’s role.
Elop mentions on the same Reuters interview that he has no regrets partnering with Microsoft back in 2011.
