Verizon starts its big WP8 push in August, Nokia offering Verizon’s high end WP8 device

According to Verizon employe using Honestabebread name in WPcentral forums Verizon will be seriously pushing Windows Phone 8 very soon.

I work for Verizon and we’re beginning a big WP8 push starting the end of August. – Honestabebread

What’s more it would seem like Nokia is offering the spearhead device for this big Windows Phone 8 push by Verizon.
It has been openly revealed by Nokia’s Richard Kerris that they will have Windows Phone on Verizon “very soon”. So the Verizon part itself isn’t big of a surprise, but it’s nice to see Nokia offering their flagship phone via USA’s largest carrier.

Chiming in here again. The HTC appears to be a midrange device and we are also getting a high end Nokia. VZW is doing a huge WP8 push this fall because the company doesn’t like subsidizing iPhones. Now that Droids sell themselves and Blackberry’s are FUBAR, we’re ready to get behind another platform. We get Concession phones that we carry for 2-3 months and the Trophy is showing up in everyone’s list. Exciting stuff! – Honestabebread

Elop and countless of Nokia executives have been talking about differentiation on their Windows Phone offering in USA and offering their phones to as many carriers as possible.
It will be seen will it mean that Nokia is offering same flagship phone in USA with different shell (a la Samsung Galaxy S2) or will Nokia have wide enough Windows Phone offering right away to spread it around carriers.

So far the rumors are pointing for two Windows Phone 8 devices by Nokia in Nokia World 2012.
